Flying
GATWICK AIRPORT
Brighton is only 30 minutes away from Gatwick by direct train (Southern Rail/Gatwick Express/Thameslink)
HEATHROW AIRPORT
Brighton is roughly 2 hours away from Heathrow. It’s easiest to either take a National Express bus directly to the city center, or take the tube into central London and then hop on a National Rail train.
Where to Stay
There are tons of options when it comes to where to stay. We suggest Airbnb, or using an app like Trivago to help you compare prices for hotels. Brighton can get pretty crowded on the weekends in the summertime, so definitely book sooner rather than later. You can use the Royal Pavilion as a home base when searching for hotels or airbnbs. Brighton is a very walkable city, but there’s also frequent bus services. Don’t hesitate to message either of us about potential hotels or Airbnb’s if you’re unsure about the location.
Things to Do
Brighton has an endless list of fun things to do while you’re visiting. Check out the Visit Brighton website for some helpful tips. It’s easy to hop on the train to London and from there you can go practically anywhere in the UK and on to the rest of Europe.
